PDFAbstract: The characteristics of the quality of the specialized software for a ship power system control and monitoring are discussed. The methodology of the evaluation of functionality, usability and reliability of specialized software for monitoring and managing ship's power plants are presented. The availability of such a methodology makes it possible to obtain a composition of software quality attributes and quantitative indicators, indicate the direction of priority changes and assess the results of their implementation, efficiency and reliability of specialized software.
