ABSTRACT

Two methods utilizing Triangular and Trapezoidal Fuzzy Numbers together with the Centre of Gravity (COG) defuzzification technique are developed in this paper as tools for assessing human skills. Examples are also presented concerning student and basket-ball player performance, illustrating the applicability of our methods in practice. The advantages and disadvantages of each method are finally discussed and some hints are presented for future research on the subject.
