PDFAbstract: Polypores are wood inhabiting macro-fungi belonging to order Polyporale, phylum Basidiomycota. Basidiocarps of 9 Polypores belonging to different families were collected from various localities of Punjab. 2 species from genus Lentinus, 2 from Polyporus, 1 from Sparassis, 1 from Ganoderma, 1 from Tyromyces, 1 from Onnia and 1 from Trametes were collected and studied for their macroscopic and microscopic features.
