ABSTRACT
Bentolhoda Abdollahbeigi, Farhang SalehiThe strategic alliance is the most important type of cooperative strategy, in which two or more firms set an agreement, work together, and share their capacities and resources to achieve a competitive advantage among their competitors. The alliance is cooperation with aims for a synergy where each partner hopes that the benefits from the alliance will be greater than those from individual efforts. The alliance often involves in technology transfer of economic specialization, shared expenses, and shared risk. This study, reviewed several papers and tried to provide an overall overview of strategic alliances.
